The Technical Construction File is a document that
is used in place of using the EMC test standards route. The equipment
is certified to the essential requirements, based on justifiable evidence
such as test results, modeling, historical evidence and installation practices.
The Technical Construction File is used
For equipment where there is no applicable harmonized standards
For equipment where harmonized standards were applied in part
For installations where testing to harmonized standards is not practical
When standards testing is not practical due to the number of variants
EMC Test Plans
The EMC test plan controls the application of the various
tests required to bring a product through certification and on to
market.
The EMC test plan is used for describing the method
of tests based upon the requirements stated in the EMC Directive.
